The UK Public Health Ministry says in official reports that E-cigarettes are 95% less harmful than cigarettes (page 1)

Fun fact: A group of researchers from the University of Virginia Commonwealth have found that Viagra may be useful in treating prostate cancer when used in combination with doxorubicin. The combination of drugs has also been found useful in the treatment of ovarian and stomach cancer.

Why the difference? The simple answer is that one group is trying to communicate accurately the facts, while the other is more concerned about sowing mistrust, even if it is not justified. It is not difficult to guess what it is.
